The Rudean

The Rudean is a Malaysian rock band from Kuala Lumpur. Formed in December 2013, the band was founded by Saiful Rudean. The name “Rudean” was inspired by Saiful’s late father who dreamed to have his own band in his younger days. The band was previously known as “Meatplow” before they changed their name to ’The Rudean’ and re-established themselves to Glam Rock and Rock & Roll genre. In 2014, the band won the award for best band in the ‘Pertandingan Raja Band Kuala Lumpur’ contest. The Rudean has also performed as an opening band for OAG’s concert. The band features a classic identity in their music and appearances with leather jackets and blazers during their performances.
